10th International HEPPA-SOLARIS Meeting, Dunedin, New Zealand, 11-15 January 2027

The 10th International HEPPA-SOLARIS Meeting will be held from 11–15 January 2027 at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.

The HEPPA-SOLARIS meeting focuses on updating knowledge exchange and discussions on observational and modelling studies of sources, variability and impacts of solar radiation and energetic particle precipitation on the atmosphere and climate.

Sessions will include topics on

  • Space weather links
  • Solar Irradiance and Particle Variability
  • Magnetospheric-ionospheric-atmospheric coupling
  • Stratosphere/mesosphere/thermosphere response and coupling of atmospheric layers
  • Climate response / Earth Radiation Budget / S2S prediction
  • New missions and tools relevant to detection and attribution of solar signals and particle impacts
  • CMIP7 forcing, implementation and evaluation
  • HEPPA-SOLARIS Working Groups

All interested members of the science community are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting. Abstract submission is now open (closes end of September 2026)
