Please do not register for this workshop through the website. The SPARC Office will collect, consolidate and then forward your registrations to our local contact person. Should you have already registered through the website, please let the SPARC Office know.

SSG-meeting

Please see the link to local workshop for logistical info. This logistical information not only applies to the local workshop but also to the SSG-meeting.

Venue

The local workshop and the SSG meeting will take place at the same meeting venue. Please see the attachment for further information about where it is and how to get there and other useful information.

Access to the conference building: You will be asked to show your passport for identitfication. So please don’t forget to bring it with you. Please send your passport no. to the SPARC Office. It will be needed prior to the meeting to give you access to the the building and for identification.

Electricity/plugs:

Argentina has 220 V and two different plugs. The most used is the I-plug. Sometimes you can also find C-plugs (see attached pictures). Shouldn’t you have such plugs on your laptop please bring an adapter with you.

Confirmation of attendance

Should you need an official letter to confirm
your participation at the local workshop and/or SSG meeting, please let us
now latest end of this week (18th November).

Food and beverages

There are no organized lunches during the local workshop and the SSG Meeting. Participants are going to find their own lunch in the vicinity.

Coffee breaks will be provided.

Accomodation

Under link to local workshop ->> Information, you will find a list with suggested hotels of different styles and prices. They are all within walking distance from the venue. There is no block reservation for these hotels. So please book your hotel as soon as possible.

Visa requirements

Your local Argentinian Embassy can give you further information about any visa requirements, link to Argentinian Embassies  ->>  Representaciones argentinas.

Please inform the SPARC Office as soon as possible if you need an official invitation letter either from us or from our local organizers. We will then coordinate it with our local contact person. It’s no need to contact them directly.
